Cys: Now, I have to admit, bizarre li'l chibis running around amok and wreaking havoc is a weakness for me. It always puts me in a good mood and makes me want to go, "Awwww!"I also happen to /like/ Pokemon. A lot. So it should be no surprise that I really enjoyed reading omitchi's Pocket Weiss.

Not only did it have chibis galore, or just pokemon, it had Weiss chibis /as/ pokemon! There was no way that I was /not/ going to be able to enjoy this little bit of treasure. Yohji, due to being accidentally pricked by one of Omi's darts, gets knocked out cold and starts having some trippy hallucinations where the other members of Weiss are the cutest li'l hybrid pokemon with human faces.

I don't want to ruin this for anyone, as it is a very short dj, but let's just say that it puts a whole new meaning to the Pokemon catch-phrase... "Gotta catch'm all!" --reviewed by Cys

"Pocket Weiş" by Lily Huon was an unexpected surprise for me. I am not a fan of Pokeman, and so I admit I wasn't too impressed with the idea of this crossover, but I am partial to Weiş Kreuz and found Lily's previous crossover to be quite enjoyable so I took a chance with Pocket Weiş and was really pleased. The story begins with Omi doctoring his darts with a drug that induces hallucinations and sleepiness. Unfortunately, Omi and Ken rush out to get a bite to eat, leaving Omi's darts where they can easily stick someone, like Yoji...Following is a drug induced sleep that leaves Yoji restless with a nightmares of his teammates, who have turned into Poke beings and who consider him to be an enemy. When his teammates find him, they have to save him from his nightmare. This was quite a funny story!

This is a beautifully presented doujinshi embellished with a thick high quality paper, a slip cover with a full color image on the cover and Lily's unique style of drawing throughout. The lines are clean with lots of tones and contrasts. The frames have more backgrounds that the usual doujinshi and Lily's use of varied facial expressions shine, as well as her creative imagination. The presentation is very neat. The text is hand written but very neat and easy to read and understand. This is a lively story made such with Lily's expressive art style. I really enjoyed this doujinshi and I'm happy to know there is a sequel expected. --reviewed by Rence

Jason: Happy New Year and welcome to another month of American Comiket! This month I have very humorous 2 Weiss Kreuz crossovers to review. One is called Pocket Weiss, and the other is White Gravitation, both of which are brought to you by Omitchi! The next doujinshi is Pocket Weiss which happens to be a Weiss Kreuz/Pokemon crossover. I really loved the cover to this one. It shows an incandescent Pokeball with a cross on the front. Just from looking at the cover, one can pretty much guess what it's about!

In this story, Omi is experimenting with a new hallucinogenic for his darts. He decides to take a break and go with Ken to get something to eat. In doing so, Omi leaves one of his darts poking out from the table. Enter a poor Yohji who somehow backs up into the dart and is injected with the hallucinogen.

What follows is a story that could only be thought up by Lewis Carroll (or Omitchi ^_^). Yohji has a very realistic dream that he is in the world of Pokemon where Omi is a pikachu and Ken is a raichu. Unfortunately I don't have a resident Pokemon expert on hand, so I wasn't able to figure out what Aya was supposed to be. Maybe it was a vulpix?

While I preferred White Gravitation's story over Pocket Weiss, the latter of the two definitely had the better artwork. The inks were bold and this book seemed to be made for the format in which it was printed. Facial expressions on all of the characters (especially Yohji) were priceless.

I'm a big Yohji fan and I love seeing Yohji put into humorous predicaments such as the one in Pocket Weiss. This story was very cute and entertaining. Hopefully one day we'll see more of Yohji's Pokemon dreams (nightmares?).

I'm so used to seeing angst-ridden Weiss Kreuz fanfics and doujinshis that White Gravitation and Pocket Weiss were both a breath of fresh air for me. Both stories are something I would recommend to yaoi and non-yaoi fans. I look forward to seeing more from Omitchi in the future, especially if there are more volumes of White Gravitation involved. ^_^

Until next time, see ya later and take good care of yourselves! --reviewed by Jason

Janette: Pocket Weiş was more on the warped side. It crossed over Weiss Kreuz and...Pokemon! It was like an Alice in Wonderland drug trip, with Youji getting hit with a dart filled with a poison that causes hallucinations. I fell over laughing at the half-Pokemon, half Weiss charas. The art was rougher in this doujinshi, but it fit the mood because I suppose that Youji isn't seeing so clearly anyway. And Omi as a Pikachu character was hilarious. It sounded like it should be so wrong, but it works.

I admit, when I read Weiss Kreuz doujinshi I usually like more yaoi. But these were so funny that I enjoyed them immensely. --reviewed by Janette
